CANCELED - Family Stargazing

CMC Professor Paul McCudden will teach basic astronomy as the sun sets and stars rise in the summer night sky. Our naturalist will teach about things that can be seen with the naked eye and have a telescope on sight for seeing things up close! This stargazing event will be a magical evening outdoors. This is a free, family-focused event, but all ages are welcome.

PLEASE NOTE:

Each family will have their own space, bring camp chairs or blankets if you'd like. There will be standard folding chairs on site.

Important details:

• Location: Legacy Ranch 35435 Highway 40

• Meeting Time: Arrive by 6:45, program starts at 7 PM goes until 9 PM
• Cost: FREE
• What to wear: Dress for the weather (current and future) and dress in layers! Bring something to keep you warm as the sun goes down and there could be mosquitos!
