Mere steps away from the top of the Gondola you can be taken down green run "Why Not" to see old bear dens and claw marks, the best places to see porcupines, snow cameras, learn about Elk, Moose and see colorful birds up close. FREE, NO RSVP NEEDED- just show up!
Description
Location: Mount Werner Ski Area, at the large trail map sign at the top of the "Why Not" trail (across the field at the top of the Gondola).
What time and how long is the tour: Meet at 1:30 pm and the tour typically lasts between 45-60 minutes, leave whenever you'd like.
COVID-19 Policies: our programs take place 100% outdoors and masks can be worn if you'd like however we do not require them unless you enter a building requiring them.
Cost: FREE thanks to the Steamboat Ski Resort Corporation - lift ticket NOT included, no rental equipment available
