Steamboat Ski Touring Center is nestled between Fish Creek and the Steamboat Ski Resort a mere 2.5 miles from the base of the resort. The snowshoe offers gentle rolling hills with views, wildlife and is a fantastic morning activity to add to your visit to Steamboat.

Important details:
Location: Steamboat Ski Touring Center; parking is free on-site
Admission includes a pass for use of the trail and snowshoes if you want to use one of our pairs.
What time and how long is the tour:Please arrive by 9:45 am to check-in. The tour will start at 10 AM and will last about 1.5 hours (ends at 11:30 am).
Where do you meet: The front doors at the Steamboat Ski Touring Center Here is a link to google maps park in the main parking lot. Come to the main building.
COVID-19 Policies: our programs take place 100% outdoors and masks can be worn if you'd like however we do not require them unless you enter a building requiring them or a car with others from outside your group.
Transportation:You are responsible for your own transportation PLAN AHEAD- if planning on taking a hotel shuttle double check the day before they go to this location, the bus doesn't have a stop very close by. Parking is free and plentiful on-site.
What to wear:
Waterproof winter boots
waterproof pants or gators over your pants
Dress in layers and avoid cotton!
Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and gloves
What to bring in your daypack:
Water bottle (1 - 2) (1 liter is a good size) and snacks.
Extra layers (fleece or down shirt or jacket, and a waterproof/windproof jacket)
Sunscreen
Hand/toe warmers (optional for people who get really cold hands/feet)
Camera for pictures of the views of the Yampa Valley and Steamboat Springs.

If you are registered and feel ill, have been placed under quarantine, or have any reason to believe you have been in contact with covid-19:
Please call before the program starts & leave a voicemail to let us know- do not attend the program, we will issue a full refund.
If you do not call and do not show up we will not issue a refund.
